Alrighty! time to let you all know what's been happening on the KE camp over the last month or so that we've been unable to update.

KE have been on a small hiatus due to the following fact. I was playing Rocky on xbox and 2 in the morning, got aggravated and punched the TV, breaking my hand AGAIN!! lol The fact that Kenny completed his VCE and went to Schoolies to have a kick ass time has nothing to do with it lol! (He gets his results back any day now so if you can email him and wish him luck!! mynameiskenny@hotmail.com) So due to this, unfortunately we have no shows booked until January 2004. On the bright side though, as soon as we can we're going to get back out there and in the thick of it, so watch this spot for future gigs and make sure you get along to a show! Now! over the last month theres been some really awesome developments which have come about, and here's where we FINALLY get to give you a taste of the blockbuster year to come that is 2004!

First of all, due to recent events, Brent McKee has decided to parted ways with Know Exit. After a hell of a lot of consideration, a good long talk and a few coffee's (one of which was a machiato that Brent spilled all over his lap!! hahaha) the mutual decision was made, and Brent and KE have parted ways. Brent is a great bloke and without a doubt has helped KE become everything that we are today, and he's been with us for the biggest and most exciting year of the band which couldn't have been made possible without him. Brent will still remain an active part of the KE crew (whether he likes it or not hahaha j/k) and is currently working on a new band in which he takes on the role of lead guitar and is rocking out his own tunes. (for which I'm totally jealous of!! hahaha) He hasn't told me the bands name yet, but we've all heard brents tunes and they're awesome! so keep your eyes peeled for updates on that! At the moment we're looking for someone to fill in Brents shoes, which will be a hella difficult task to do! We'll be auditioning people over the next few weeks or however long it takes to find the right person. Secondly, the guys have been working on some new material to ring in the new year. So far things are sounding awesome, and are heading towards a new direction for the band which we're all really excited about. But don't worry, its not leaps and bounds away from the sound we've been working so hard on refining, and defining. But its definitely the best stuff we've ever written and we cant wait to show you all!!

Thirdly, KE have begun booking shows nationally for the start of 2004. Beginning with shows in Sydney and the Central Coast with more shows to be announced once things are finalised. Also in the works is a trip down to Perth to play a handful of shows. More details for that as they come, but either way LOOK OUT PERTH! HERE WE COME!! actually...better make that the whole fucking country!! hahaha

And FINALLY!! The big news!! (as if the rest wasn't big enough!!) The past month has seen Know Exit receive an extremely large amount of attention from record labels right across Australia, one label in particular which unfortunately cannot be mentioned at this time. All we can say is that we're overwhelmed by the offers and attention we've been receiving, and if everything comes through nicely (which myself and Kenny are working very hard to ensure that it does!), 2004 is going to see Know Exit coming out better than ever!!

All things considered 2004 is going to be massive and we cant wait to get out there again and give it everything we've got!!
